Debra is a mother to 4 children, Brandon (22), Rayshawn (21), Dayquan (17) and Kyrie (8). She has instilled a strong work ethic in her children and assisted in motivating her two oldest sons to go to college. Her oldest graduated from Tennessee State University and is currently studying for the LSAT while her second oldest is pursuing his nursing degree from Northern Illinois. Debra works as a GI Assistant at OSF and works part-time as an Addus Caregiver to her mother. Debra has said her sons have broken the generational cycle of never attending or graduating college, but now she would like to be the first in her family to own a home! She has spent the last five years working to better her credit and save for a house. The commitment is one she has thought about for a while and feels ready for that responsibility!
