Hello, my name is Towanda White. I work at Excalibur seasoning where I was a mixer, a crew leader and am now a supervisor. I am now a production coordinator. I have been at this job for four years and in Peoria for most of my life. I have three kids; two daughters Jennea and Cennea. I lost my son, Charles, earlier this year in March. This was one of the hardest things that I have ever been through in my life. I have been still trying to stay strong for my other kids. I trust and believe that if I just hold on and keep faith in God that everything will get better for us.
I am so thankful for Habitat for Humanity for allowing me to give my kids something that every parent wants to give their kids: a house. This house will be a home and security for us and being picked to get a house from Habitat means the world to me. I can't even begin to express the joy and happiness that I feel inside. I am so happy that Habitat has taken a change on us. I thank God for people like you that bless families like us to be homeowners. I would like to thank God for each and every person who has donated time, supplies, and staff - thank you for your hard work. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything tha tyou all have done for our family.back
